| BOARD OF EDUCATION - POSTSECONDARY AND PROPRIETARY SCHOOLS - Amends and repeals existing law relating to the State Board of Education and proprietary schools to revise provisions relating to annual registration fees, to revise provisions relating to exemptions and annual registration fees; to revise provisions relating to issuance and reissuance of certain certificates and to provide for information on certificates of identification; to provide for criminal history checks; to revise provisions relating to validity of certificates of identification; to provide that agents carry ceritificates for identification purposes in certain circumstances; to provide that proprietary schools maintain certain records and to provide that proprietary schools provide criminal history check information as part of the annual registration process; to revise terms of a purchase statement; to provide that proprietary schools obtain a surety bond; and to revise provisions relating to the indemnification of certain students and to revise terms of such bond. |
