Joint Legislative Oversight Committee

Members of the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee (JLOC) are appointed by the majority and minority party leaders of the Senate and the House. The two co-chairs must be from different houses and different political parties, and are appointed by Legislative Council. By law, JLOC includes an equal number of members from each major party and an equal number of members from each house. Membership must include the co-chairs of the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee or their designees.
